Hart Leadership at Duke University

The Hart Leadership Program at Duke University prepares undergraduate students for the rigors of public leadership through classes, fellowships and international learning opportunities. An exercise in creative limitation, our mission was to design a website and logo that created a unique identity for the program while conforming to the rigors of the university’s required branding.

By combining the colors in the university’s approved palette in a totally new way, we were able to create a fresh, modern website that feels and looks different from anything else at the university. With a nod toward the undergraduate audience, we also embedded social media tabs throughout the site and created an interactive timeline and map.
