Position Overview

Rivers Agency is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist, adept at all current digital ad and social media strategies, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be entrusted with crafting and executing innovative digital solutions that drive brand growth, engagement and overall digital presence for our clients. You will play a crucial role in deciphering digital data to drive informed business decisions for Rivers’ clients. Your primary responsibilities will be to analyze the online marketing health of digital properties, online user behavior, campaign performance and digital marketing trends. By interpreting data from various digital platforms, you will provide actionable insights that contribute to optimizing digital strategies and enhancing overall online presence for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy Development: Develop, recommend and implement comprehensive digital strategies that align with our clients’ business goals, incorporating digital marketing, SEO, SEM, social media (organic and paid), content development and more.
  • Research and Analysis: Regularly conduct audits of client digital presence and monitor digital trends. Analyze data from various digital tools to identify opportunities and insights.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, present strategies and report on campaign performance. Translate client objectives into digital initiatives.
  • Ad Management: Design, implement and optimize ad campaigns across multiple platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads and other relevant channels. Monitor budgets, conduct A/B tests and ensure maximum ROI.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with creative, content and development teams to ensure that digital strategies, including ad campaigns, are seamlessly integrated across platforms. Maintain relationships with external partners (such as publishers, programmatic tool reps and account managers) to help deliver the best value to our clients.
  • Content Strategy: Develop content strategies based on client goals and target audience insights. Ensure content is optimized for SEO, user engagement and ad promotion.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee and manage digital campaigns, including ad campaigns, from conception to completion. Monitor, measure and optimize performance for continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest digital trends, tools, platforms and best practices, ensuring that our strategies are always cutting-edge and our clients are prepared for changing digital marketing landscapes.
  • Reporting: Compile and present comprehensive reports on campaign performance, ad results, ROI and other pertinent metrics to both internal teams and clients. Develop reporting frameworks and seek opportunities to build case studies that showcase our agency’s success.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, advertising and/or branding, with client-facing responsibilities and social media specialization.
  • Proven experience in digital strategy development, including ad management and implementation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital ad platforms, tools and best practices, including SEO, SEM, social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and client-facing abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Suite, Semrush and other digital marketing tools.
