The Senior Account Manager at Rivers Agency will be responsible for providing leadership in managing client relationships, overseeing project timelines and ensuring the successful execution of projects through effective management of the agency’s project management system: Asana. This role will also involve direct supervision, training and evaluation of other account supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of agency experience.
- Experience managing day-to-day relationships with clients and vendors.
- Strong account and project management skills and the ability to handle multiple client requests.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and fully capable of managing and working on multiple projects within tight deadlines.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Excellent pitching and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in your portfolio, ensuring top-tier service and fostering long-term relationships.
- Understand client needs and objectives, offering solutions and strategic advice to further their goals.
2. Project Oversight and Management
- Oversee project timelines to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Effectively use Asana as a project management tool, creating, assigning and monitoring tasks for the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless execution of client projects.
3. Team Management and Training
- Train, mentor and manage the account supervisors, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Set up clear goals and objectives for all account staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and client objectives.
4. New Business and Proposals
- Work closely with the business development team to draft proposals for potential and existing clients.
- Ensure that proposals are compelling, accurate, and align with both the client’s needs and the agency’s capabilities.
5. Budgetary and Financial Oversight
- Plan and manage budgets for clients in your portfolio, ensuring profitability while meeting client objectives.
- Monitor and report on the financial health of accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
6. Operational Excellence
- Regularly review and optimize internal processes to enhance efficiency and client service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools and best practices to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of excellence.
