Hampton Farms’ peanuts are one of America’s most beloved snacks, yet many people — customers, even — don’t even know it. Throughout the stands and concourses of all 30 MLB stadiums, baseball fans crack into in-shell peanuts supplied exclusively by Hampton Farms.
Despite selling a fan-favorite product in its most iconic venue, a number of factors have caused Hampton Farms to fly under the radar. MLB peanuts may be sold in generic packaging or varying points-of-sale, depriving Hampton Farms of valuable brand recognition in the ballpark and beyond. Rivers created the Shell Yeah! campaign to raise awareness that Hampton Farms is the largest seller of in-shell peanuts in the US.

Beyond their connection to baseball, Hampton Farms has a key differentiator: They’re the only producer of flavored in-shell peanuts. Our Shell Yeah! campaign ran across social, paid media and e-commerce to generate awareness of Hampton Farms’ in-shell offerings.
Shell Yeah! was Hampton Farms’ first ever social-first campaign, but we stuck to the brand’s roots by making it all about fun and flavor. That strategy delivered Hampton Farms over 690k total impressions and contributed to the sale of over 3m peanuts over the course of the campaign.
