The dedicated nurses at UNC Medical Center often go above and beyond the call of duty, which is why recognizing their hard work is particularly important to our client, the Medical Center’s Division of Nursing. The UNC Medical Center nurses are indeed an amazing group that deserves recognition, so we designed the Division’s 2015 Nursing Annual Report to highlight their dedication, academic achievements, innovative research and awards. Available in print and digital formats, the Carolina Nursing report features engaging profiles and interviews as well as seven video narratives integrated into the online version.
At Rivers Agency, we were flattered to hear this week that the Medical Center appreciates our hard work, too. “As for the final product, your staff did an outstanding job,” says Peggy Mattingly, the communications coordinator at UNC Hospitals. “It’s the first time I’ve worked with a design group where I have zero hesitation to rehire because your staff took the outcome of it being an excellent product as seriously as I do, and it showed in their attention to detail.” Coming from someone for whom excellence and attention to detail is of upmost importance, Mattingly’s email put a smile on our faces.
To create the memorable annual report, we worked with the talented local photographer Brian Strickland and filmmaker Leonard Llewellyn Godwin. We placed the warm portraits and inspiring videos they created in clean modern layouts that utilize various shades of blue — including the signature “Carolina blue” — as a unifying theme. The overall effect is visually interesting and paints a thoughtful portrait of the dedicated staff, innovative environment and supportive culture that make up UNC’s Division of Nursing.
Mattingly continued her praise by saying, “You have a wonderful team to work with — their professionalism is above and beyond, and I sincerely could not have been more pleased.” We appreciate the compliment, and having gotten to know some of the many inspiring nurses at UNC, we’re confident we could say the same about their team!
