Out of more than 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 43 other countries, Rivers Agency’s creative work stood out to win a Platinum Award for Ribometrix and a Gold Award for Mulesoft. The MarCom Awards recognize outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. This is the fourth consecutive year Rivers has entered and been recognized in the MarCom competition, winning a total of 21 awards.
Platinum Winner: Ribometrix Rebrand
When Ribometrix approached us last year, they already had an all-star team, three rounds of funding, and most importantly, a game-changing drug-discovery platform. We’ve helped them take the next step by building a modern biotech brand that leaves room for their science to do the talking.
Rivers strategically designed the new Ribometrix brand and messaging to appeal to a broad array of audiences, including partners, funders and prospective employees. Photography, icons, the color palette, design elements, and patterns were chosen to clearly convey the rigorous science behind Ribometrix’s approach and biological breakthroughs and documented in the brand guidelines.
Another important part of the brand refresh was clarifying the message to make it accessible to all audiences. Now Ribometrix has a unique brand identity and a sleek new website that supports its important work in disease prevention.
Notably, Rivers was one of just a handful of North Carolina agencies to win this highest honor.
Gold Winner: Mulesoft “Reimagine” Display Ad Campaign

Having just merged with Salesforce, MuleSoft needed a high-impact campaign to educate audiences of their new affiliation and promote the benefit of its software.
We created a dynamic digital ad campaign that spotlighted automation’s greatest outcome: empowerment.
The animated ads featured Salesforces’ signature brand universe and highlighted various tasks that could be automated to empower employees to do more high-value work.
To reach our target audiences, the campaign used a digital strategy that featured both animated and static display ads, paid social, retargeting ads and video ads.
